More obstacles...

Firstly, Reader, I would like to take the time to express wishes that your New Year started out well. 2010 has already presented us all with significant challenges-specifically the horrendous earthquakes in Haiti. It is, however, encouraging to see such overwhelming support from across the globe to render assistance. It is truly a testament to the best of human nature.

Secondly, I would like to relay some unfortunate news. As most of you already know, I am a Critical Care/Emergency Nurse in the United States Navy. I wrote much of Pajo while deployed to Iraq and most of The Prince's Orphans while deployed to Afghanistan. When the time came for medical staff from the hospital at which I am stationed to leave on a last-minute deployment to support Haiti on the USNS Comfort, I was passed over because I had just returned from Afghanistan. What that does mean, though, is that the remaining staff have little wiggle room in terms of schedule. Because of this I will not be able to re-release Pajo at WonderCon 2010 in San Francisco. My military commitments simply will not allow it. Big disappointment for me. The re-release will happen soon, though, and with an all new David Morris cover! But I won't be able to offer a timeline as to any specific dates. The release of The Prince's Orphans will then follow about three months afterward.

Also, in the future you can expect an entirely new website design. Some elements will remain, but with the addition of some new TPO content and easier navigation. So, until then, Reader, Be Well...
