Outwitting the Elements Finally Released!
Pajo Receives Another Award!

Hello once again, Reader. Sorry it's been so long since I've posted, but I've been keeping quite busy! I am in the process of leaving Naval Medical Center San Diego Intensive Care Unit and will be hanging my hat at 29 Palms Marine Corps Base Emergency Room. But I have been spending any and all free time with writing The Prince's Orphans.

The board game Outwitting the Elements has finally been released! As many of you already know, the game is the favorite in the Straemierian Kingdom and plays a small role in the series. In real life, it is a game that my children invented while enduring lengthy road trips! With a little tweaking, the three of us came up with a pretty interesting little game. I submitted the rules-of-play to a flash software designer team and the results can be found on the Activities page. Unfortunately, the game does have a glitch or two. But I guess that's what happens when you have someone else try to materialize your vision. Had I more time, I would have done it myself like the other flash games on the site. Give a try and send off an e-mail to me if you encounter any problems.

In other news, Pajo has taken Honorable Mention in the Beach Book Festival! With all the great books submitted, it is quite an honor to have Pajo awarded like this! More exciting awards news is to follow, Reader, but I'm keeping tight-lipped until the results are official! A list of the awards that Pajo has won can be found on the bottom of the Pajo page on this site.

Next time I will talk about another new character in the next book and a couple of other independent authors out there that are getting a lot of attention from Fantasy genre fans and reviewers alike. Until then, Reader, be well.
