And I'm Back!

Thanks for your patience, Reader. It was an interesting deployment to Afghanistan. I served as the sole Intensive Care Unit nurse at a remote Level II Forward Surgical Team hospital in Farah, Afghanistan. We treated a number combat-injured patients. Most of whom were Afghani, but some were Italian and American. All-in-all it proved to be a very adventurous time for me. If we get a chance to meet, make sure to ask about repelling to the bottom of a 2,500 year-old well!

As far as the second book in the 3 Pillars series, I was able to work out any stress at a brand new Burn Pit in Afghanistan! With a revised outline and a significant amount of progress, I am happy to tell you that the manuscript is on course for a release date of early April! I have been in contact with David Morris and the cover is looking amazing! We have also been talking about a re-release of Pajo with a new David Morris cover, as well. Not wanting to give too much away, I can tell you that the covers of each of the three books will combine to form one large picture! It's a great concept and I have been very pleased with what I've seen so far.

Thanks again for coming back to the site to check up on any progress, Reader. Now that I'm back in my beloved San Diego, I will make every attempt to update this blog monthly, as before. Take care, Reader and Be Well.
