Merry Christmas, Reader!

Sincere and heartfelt wishes that you and yours will have a very Merry Christmas this year, Reader! Regardless of your stance on religious belief, it cannot be denied that this time of year-more than any other-is spent in the exercise of wishing well to our fellow man. Let's all make it a point this year to make this especially so in our own lives.

I'm sure that, like me, you have been kept busy by this holiday season. Despite the struggling economy, everyone with whom I have interacted is bound and determined to make this a memorable Christmas and is spending money like mad! Unfortunately, most of the cash that has left my wallet has gone toward home renovations. Yes, I still have much more work to do with the new house...probably another year's worth, I imagine. Someday...

The Prince's Orphans, the second book in the series, is still coming along well. An independent editor is being lined up to go through the manuscript and (let's be honest) hack it to pieces. Hopefully, after this painful process comes to an end, a product that you will enjoy will be the result. So far I am quite pleased with the story. The new characters (Sakra, Aesp, and Qaysa-all who have previously been introduced in this blog) have helped move the story along nicely and have provided additional depth to the story overall. The old characters are still around and I hope that you'll agree that their own individual stories have developed.

Again, I wish you a very Merry Christmas, Reader. Take care, I'll see you next year and, as always, Be Well.
